These terms cover your use of Segue at seguedaily.com (the "game"). By playing, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.
The game
Segue is a music puzzle game. Songs are placed on a sound map that we built and keep adjusting, and scores are worked out from those placements. Placements and scores are our judgment calls and can change, including after you play, for example when a score challenge leads us to move a song.
Accounts
- You can play without an account. An account saves your DJ name, badges, scores and Premium.
- You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in details safe.
- Pick a DJ name that isn't offensive, hateful, sexual, impersonating someone, or misleading. We may change or remove names that break this, and suspend accounts that abuse the game, the board or other players.
- Don't try to cheat the board, overload the service, get around Premium, or access data that isn't yours.
Premium
- Premium is a one-time purchase that unlocks Infinite and DJ customization on your account. It isn't a subscription and doesn't renew.
- Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
- See the Refund Policy for refunds.
- Premium lasts as long as we run the game. If we ever shut it down, we'll give notice on the site.
Things you send us
When you request a song or challenge a score, you give us permission to use what you wrote to improve the game, including having it reviewed by an AI system. Please don't include personal information in those messages.
Music and names
Song titles and artist names belong to their owners and are used only to identify songs. Segue doesn't host or play any music, and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any artist, label or streaming service.
Our work
The game's name, logo, design, artwork, text, sound map and software are owned by Segue and protected by copyright and other laws. You may share your results and screenshots. You may not copy, republish or make a competing copy of the game or its catalog.
No guarantees
The game is provided "as is". We work to keep it running and accurate but can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that scores and placements are correct. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you've paid us in the past 12 months.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
