Privacy Policy

This explains what Segue collects, why, and the choices you have. Short version: we collect only what the game needs, we don't sell your data, and we don't run ads or advertising trackers.

What we collect

• Account: your email address (to sign you in), your DJ name, member number, badges and DJ look.
• Play: the songs you pick, scores, times and dates, so the board, uniqueness bonus and streaks work.
• Messages you send: song requests and score challenges, including what you write.
• Premium: whether you have it and a Stripe customer reference. Stripe handles payment details; we never see your card.
• On your device: the game stores your settings, today's run and history in your browser's local storage. These stay on your device and aren't used for tracking.
• Technical logs: our hosting providers keep standard logs (like IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.

How it's used

To run the game: sign-in, the daily board, badges, Premium, fixing song placements and adding requested songs. Signed-in players' DJ names, picks and scores are visible to other players on the board. We don't sell or rent personal data and don't use it for advertising.

Who processes it for us

• Supabase: database and sign-in.
• Cloudflare: hosting, security, and Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies or tracking you across sites.
• Resend: sign-in emails.
• Stripe: payments (under Stripe's own privacy policy).
• Anthropic: song requests and challenge text are reviewed by Anthropic's AI to place songs on the map. We send the text you wrote and the songs involved, not your email address.
• Google Fonts: the site's fonts, loaded from Google.

How long we keep it

Account and play data stay while your account exists. Requests and challenges are kept after they're handled, so the map's history makes sense. Delete your account and we delete your account data.

Your choices

• Play without an account; nothing personal is collected beyond technical logs.
• Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account: email team@seguedaily.com from the address on your account.
• Clear the game's local storage any time in your browser settings.

Children

Segue isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child under 13 has made an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
